91.9 WFPK presents Dare to Care "Food Raiser" with Joan Osborne

(7/25/08—Louisville, KY) 91.9 WFPK has partnered with Yum! Brands Foundation and The Kentucky Center to bring Louisville expatriate Joan Osborne in concert to the Bomhard Theater on Wednesday, October 1 at 8pm. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 1st at 10am at the Kentucky Center Box Office, www.kentuckycenter.org or charge by phone at (502) 584-7777. Tickets for this all ages show are $30.00 or only $25.00 if you bring a non-perishable food item to the show for Dare to Care (discounted tickets are only valid with the food donation).Joan Osborne returns to Louisville for her first hometown concert in five years in support of her soon-to-be-released recording Little Wild One (release date—September 9, 2008, Vanguard Records). Osborne reunites with her former Grammy All-Star Team. Rick Chertoff, Rob Hyman and Eric Bazilian last collaborated with Osborne on her six-time Grammy-nominated breakthrough album, Relish. “WFPK is thrilled to bring Joan Osborne back to Louisville”, says WFPK program director Stacy Owen. “Our efforts for the concert are two-fold…to share Joan’s incredible talent and build awareness for the great work that Yum!
