Louisville Public Media Receives $600,000 to Support Investigative Journalism

(Louisville, KY - July 15, 2015) Louisville Public Media (LPM) announced today that it has received a grant award of $600,000 from the C. E. & S. Foundation to support the work of the Kentucky Center for Investigative Reporting (KYCIR).

The three-year grant will enable KYCIR to expand its reporting, with an increased emphasis on state government and politics and data journalism.

“We are extremely grateful to the C. E. & S. Foundation for this very generous gift,  which will enable us to take this vital work to the next level,” said Donovan Reynolds, LPM’s  President and General Manager.

LPM created the investigative reporting center in 2013 with a pledge to address the erosion of news reporting resources in Louisville and Kentucky.
