LPM Membership Drive Postponed

In a time of uncertainty, we all look for sources of information we can trust. We work hard to be our community’s trusted source of news, entertainment and relaxation every day at Louisville Public Media.

Part of our continuing public service is to bring you the latest on COVID-19, from what’s happening in our neighborhoods, institutions and houses of worship, to the myriad national and international responses to the virus. We’re bringing you live, detailed reporting as this story unfolds, and it is our top priority to continue that work. Keep up with 89.3 WFPL’s live coverage of coronavirus in the Louisville area here.

Out of concern for the health and safety of our employees, and to ensure that we continue to deliver the public service you depend on at the highest level, we have decided to postpone next week’s planned Membership Drive. Instead, we will stay focused on the latest news and information — and on our music stations, entertainment and relaxation.

Radio, smartphones, smart speakers and social media ensure we can deliver live, breaking news to you as it happens. The journalists at 89.3 WFPL News, the Kentucky Center for Investigative Reporting and the Ohio Valley ReSource will continue to be your trusted source for what’s happening all around us. Just as the hosts at 90.5 WUOL and 91.9 WFPK will keep you calm and connected.

We’ll be back on-air with our Membership Drive when the time is right. For now, please help us continue to deliver these essential public services by making a gift today.

Your support is the reason we are able to deliver the news you need, when you need it — especially in times like these.

Thank you,

Stephen George
